The Story of Samson House

Originally built in the early 1900s, Samson House stands as a testament to Revelstoke’s rich history. Through a careful and comprehensive reconstruction, the home has been built with respect for its heritage craftsmanship and quality, blending period details with contemporary design to create a space that is both timeless and modern.

“There were six or eight carpenters kept busy all winter and into the next spring in completing the house. Most of the men were Swedish, and were well known to our family, and mother supplied them with coffee and cookies every afternoon that I can remember, and because of her kindness and so on, she managed to get a lot of extras that were not in the plans at that time.”

History Preserved, Luxury Created

The house’s original character and period architecture has been honored throughout each phase of the reconstruction, resulting in a graceful home that lovers of considered design will appreciate.

These historic features are complemented by modern, luxury amenities and bespoke design, creating an inviting space that’s perfect for sharing with family and gathering of friends.
